I’ve always preferred crepes over pancakes, but making them gluten-free AND vegan (and still taste good) has proved to be a little tricky. I’ve had some pretty horrendous creations come out the pan whilst trying to find a decent crepe recipe. However, I’ve finally nailed it – a super healthy, versatile and simple recipe THAT TASTES GOOD. This recipe can be enjoyed sweet and savoury which really gives it the tick of approval for me. With the weather cooling down as we move toward winter, it’s far too cold to be drinking cold smoothies for breakfast at the moment. As my diet shifts to include warm breakfasts and fresh, juicy oranges, I like to regularly include this highly nourishing warm drink as part of my morning routine to give me an antioxidant boost and a chocolate-y hit first thing! We live in a world brimming with convenience. It’s everywhere, and we are programmed to want it all the time. The industrial and information/telecommunications revolutions have allowed us to make leaps and bounds when it comes to increased levels of ‘convenience’ in our everyday lives. In the modern world, we have everything at our finger tips. Everything within reach. A vast array of services are just a click or call away – clothing, accomodation, food, entertainment, education, transport, communication, romance, new technologies, homewares, and almost anything else you could think of. We can talk to our friends with the tap of our thumb, or validate a stranger’s existence with a double-tap.
One could even go as far as to call it extreme convenience.
We are all so conveniently connected.
Right?
